"Earth Girls makes garage-pop that’s so densely packed it’s almost easy to lose the complexity of the arrangements, but that’s exactly what [makes it] work. It may be bubblegum pop, but its flavors don’t fade after first listen." -AV Club

Track Name: Someone I'd Like to Know
I’m having fun in flight
Making up my life daily as I go
I don’t remember much
Forced it all from thought
Better off alone

If you insist on finishing my lines
At least get them right

Not holding out for luck
Sick of feeling stuck
We all have our woes
Coming close to burning craters where I gaze
I can’t stand another second in this place on my own

You seem like someone I’d like to know
And I don’t have any place to go
I thought I ought to spend the night
Now it’s time to abandon plans
Then maybe someone will understand
You think that I don’t have a type
Track Name: Bad Intentions
Fumbled and spread around
Your depth of bad intentions
It can’t all fall on me
To learn to transfer guilt
And clearly make them see it
While feigning honesty

Don’t ever hesitate
We have to make mistakes
Our hopes were made to break
But it shouldn’t come this easily

This close and insular world
Has lost its higher standards
All fabricated too
I’m hearing what I want
But learning not to see it
Why grant a gift to you?

I’ll learn to show the world
I had my own intentions
I don’t extend from you
Track Name: Room to Breathe
An older dialect
With fewer words, true orthodox
If you don’t command respect
You’ll get a different response

You didn’t care at all
When I needed room to breathe
There’s no sense in hanging back
I abandon subtlety

But I’d never call it that
I’m trying now to learn just how to say
That I festered and fell back
Again into the same mistakes
Track Name: Code Switch
Got lost in echoes trying to steal a glance or understand what motivates
Starting to feel that I will never get it right no matter what it takes
Now tripping, sweating, giving off the sense of hiding almost everything
Can’t help but get fed up with your uncanny memory for all you’ve seen

Teach me how to leave
I’m restless

I’m idly dreaming of a chance to bide away my time where thought is pure
Attempt to gain the tools to learn to translate knowledge from another world
This awkward turn of phrase is slipping up just trying to get a point across
But if I speak this way I’ll start to change and then my sense of self is lost

I’m dull, restless, and bored today
Routine starts getting in the way
Forgot all that I had to say
The rest is useless
